It is over-hang type(cantilever type) twist-free mill,cross top 45°configuration, it has three series: ten stands series, 8 stands series, and 6 stands series.
(1) ten stands series:
the mill has ten stands, it has fiveφ230 stands and fiveφ170 stands, or, it can be 10 φ230 stands. The driving is made collectively.
Function: The finishing mill group is located behind the 3# flying shear area while in front of water cooling device. Its function is that through the continuous milling of 10 mill stands with micro tension, the φ17~23mm work pieces conveyed by the upstream finishing mill is milled into the φ5.5~13mm finished wire. The finishing mill group assures the outlet velocity of 90m/s.
The finishing mill group consists of 10 finishing mills, in which there are 5 φ230 and 5 φ170 finishing mills. The last two φ170 finishing mills are with super high-speed stands. The layout of the ten mill stands is 45°top crossing. The main feature of structure is as following:
Features:
Structure of rolling mill group:the finishing block has ten stands, fiveφ230 stands, and five φ170 stands. The last two stands of φ170 is ultra-high speed stands. These ten stands are configured in top cross 45° ,it has following features:
— The finishing mill group consists of 10 finishing mills, in which there are 5 φ230 and 5 φ170 finishing mills. The strength of the group gets obviously enhanced.
— The last two φ170 finishing mills are with super high-speed stands which increased the speed of the group and assure the outlet velocity of 90m/s.
— The layout adopted on the finishing mill group is 45°top crossing which reduces the height of the long shaft. Not only the stability of the finishing mill group is increased, but also the weight is reduced. In addition, it is more convenient to operate and maintain.
— Each pair of adjacent mill stands make 90° angle which helps realizing the non-twist milling.
— Plug-in and cantilever roll collared structure is adopted on the roll case. Eccentric sleeve system is equipped inside the case body to adjust the roll seam. The eccentric sleeve is equipped with film lubrication bearing and roll shaft. The roll collar is fixed by the conical sleeve at the end of roll shaft of cantilever.
— Tapered gearbox consists of the case body, transmission shaft, spiral bevel mated gear, synchronized mated gear. All the gears are hard tooth flank grinding gears with tooth flank correction and level 5-accuracy which assure high-speed stable operation.
— The roll case is connected with the tapered gearbox by bolts directly. The case body of the roll case is extended into the tapered gearbox during assembly to make its roll shaft gear respectively go into mesh with the two synchronized gears inside the tapered gearbox. The roll case and tapered gearbox are positioned by two location pins. The same size of roll cases can be interconverted.
— Rotate a guide screw with L.H&R.H handed thread buckle and nut to regulate the roll seam. Make two groups of eccentric sleeve rotate relatively, roll seam is changed through symmetrical movement of the distance between two roll shafts as the eccentric relative pass line of the eccentric sleeve and original position of pass line and guide are maintained.
