Flying Shears

(1) 3# Flying shears

Function: 3# flying shear which is used for head and end shear of workpiece is located behind the pre-water cooled device.

Performance: Rotary flying shear, start-stop operation mode.

Section of shear: Max 470mm2

Speed of shear: 5~18 m/s (max)

Length of shearing head and end: 100~740mm

Electromotor: 225kW, 450 r/ min (encoder is included)

Humidity of shear: 850℃

Lubrication form: Thin oil centralized lubrication and manual grease lubrication.

Level 5-accuracy of hard tooth flank is adopted on flying shear. A guiding channel is set in front of the shear and a switcher is set behind the shear.

Scope of supply: the whole set of equipment, including flying shear (boxes, gear wheel、knife shaft、bearing、turret、blade, and so on)、 motor coupling、 plate、 guiding channel、 exit switcher、 piping on board、 basement of the motor and so on. Not including collecting device.

(2) scrap shear

Function: Installed behind the 3# flying shear and used for scrap when accident occurs. There is 1 set of scrap shear.

Performance: Rotary flying shear, long-term operation mode.

Section of shear: Max 470mm2

Speed of shear: 5~18 m/s

Length of scrap: 400mm

Electromotor: 132kW, 1000 r/ min

Lubrication form: Thin oil centralized lubrication and manual grease lubrication.

Level 5-accuracy of hard tooth flank is adopted on flying shear.

Scope of supply: the whole set of equipment, including shear proper(boxes, gear wheel、knife shaft、bearing、turret、blade, and so on),coupling,plate, basement of the motor, piping on board,and so on.

(3)Forward fracture shear

Function: The forward fracture shear is located behind the side loop while in front of finishing mill group. The function is that the fracture shear will cut off the material which are being sent into the finishing mill group or hold the incoming material back when the finishing mill group and its downstream pass line are failed.

Performance: The structure consists of upper and lower shear edges whose on-off is controlled by the cylinder. In order to make sure that the fracture shear is able to be turned off in case of non-pressure situation; one proximity switch is located at the turn-off position of the shear edge. The main technical parameters are shown below:

Size of workpiece: φ17~23mm

Shear cylinder: φ63×70mm

Operation pressure: ﹥0.4 MPa

The scope of supply: the whole set of equipment, including shear edges, the basement, cylinder, piping on board and so on.
