Position: The pinch is located behind the water-cooling device of finishing mill group area.
Function:The pinch roller is used for holding the finished wires go through the water-cooling device and send them into laying head.
Structure: The pinch roller is horizontal cantilevered roller driven by double rollers. The upper and lower roller clamp synchronously controlled by the cylinder. The pinch roller is driven by a direct current governor motor through speed increasing of cylindrical gear at the two poles. The two pinch roller shafts are installed on two swing arms, and driven by a cylinder through a group of crank-guide to make the pinch roller approach or deviate from the pass line which helps clamp or loosen the work-piece. It is allowed to adjust the clamp force in order not to clamp the wire flat.
Adjustable caging device is set up for adjusting the maximum opening degree of the pinch roller and the minimum central distance to assure the two rollers will not collide. The welding structure is adopted on the case body of pinch roller, the thin oil centralized lubrication is adopted on gear and bearing, film lubrication bearing and high-speed rolling thrust bearing are adopted on pinch roller shaft.
