Cooling bed is a necessary equipment for medium and small bar shops, it is used to transit the bars which are cut by flying shear to the cooling bed, and lower its temperature from 900℃ to 100~300℃. Then the discharger of the cooling bed will collect the bars and deliver them to the exit rollers. The exit rollers will then deliver the bars to the cold shears where they will be cut into fixed size of products.The design and installation of the cooling bed is very important which can affect the quality of the bars.
In recent years, with the growing requirement for better quality and larger capacity, and more sophisticated rolling schedules, we designed a new model of cooling bed for small section steels and bars, its quality and speed has reached international advanced level, annual bar production can reach 900 thousand tons.
